To Blog more?

Blogging? I never liked writing, let alone blogging for outside people to read. As a low-profiled peason, blogging used to be the last thing I would consider. But for now, Im too free to blog some updates before I lose my mood to blog again. During this exchange program, my timetable is quite bizarre,

Monday- 3 lectures that spans from morning till evening
Tuesday- 3 lectures (same as monday)
Wednesday- 1 lecture (evening)
Thursday - 1 lecture (early morning)
Friday - no class

Effectively, I have 2 full lecture days. My weekends are not considered as my free day, as this are period for me to travel to some other towns. (Salzburg 2 weeks ago, Zurich this coming week, Vienna and Venice the following week, Ruegen Island end of this month). So that leaves Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays to rest or travel in future.

Okie, time to update on what I have done for the past 2 weeks. Click on the links.

1) Spring fest in Munich

2) Salzburg Trip

3) Dachau Concentration Camp

4) Fell sick

5) Watch football in Allianz Arena

6) Singapores Stammtisch

Jogging in cold weather is bad

Today, I jogged in the English Gardens, which next to my hostel. Dont ask me why its called English. Even the directory for the garden below is in German.

Like I used to jog in West Coast Park frequently during my healthy days, I planned to do the same right here. Life's pretty good here when there's good beer and ample food daily. So, some form of exercise should be essential... I don't think walking and getting lost around munich which I'm good at would burn enough calories.

From the map you see, I jogged 1/4 of the map.... Don't laugh ok. I did a measurement from Google Earth. That was around 2.7 km. Not bad for a start yea... :)

However, the after effects was pretty bad. Somehow, I'm just not used to cardio exercise while breathing cold air. So, I ended up coughing a lot right after the jog. Then 3 days of running nose.
Maybe I should wait till summer. Till then, just witness the physical transformation of me. =)

Dachau Concentration Camp

Concentration Camp. The perfect sign of Nazi's attrocities. A small peaceful little town's reputation was forever changed by this establishment.

No, it's not a mass-orgy. This art piece represents the heap of dead bodies (Jews, French, Gypsies, Homosexuals.. list goes on) that were left exposed when the crematarium became too busy. All thanks to 1 man who visioned a better Germany for his future.

Click here for photos on what me, Mario and Reuben saw over there.

"Arbeit macht frei" means work in this place will grant your freedom. The lamest way to cheat the inmates by giving them false hopes.
